Alpaca Breeding
Wasatch Back Alpacas
Thorougbred Alpacas?
Alpacas – and horses and every other type of herd animal need to be with its own kind. Who wants to be the only one out there? Alpacas are herd oriented and need to be with at least one other alpaca. Even two alpacas together, while being better than a single alpaca, are much happier with a bunch of friends. They do so much better when not alone or even in low numbers. When we put alpacas and sheep together, they may intermingle, but the loyalty lies within their own kind. Like dogs which are pack animals, your alpaca will do much better with a bunch of friends and family…
Are there thoroughbred Alpacas you can breed your “Hembra” (female) with. Well yes there are. The males are called “Machos”. Check out our studs, we have the BEST boys to pair up with your girls!
